To animate this fella with CSS I had to create a bunch of layers which I then placed on top of each other and by the magic of transforms brought him to life. The eye blinking was done by animating background images of a particular layer. The actual page with this guy weighed a bit, it was all PNG files. So I'm not including the actual thing here, as the whole site you're on is less than 5 MB. Like the actual server has only double the capacity. But there's still surprisingly a lot of media content you can fit in that limit.
